Well, I paid attention to what you said about liking the set from CB that you like it a lot and use it every day.
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
I just looked at the two different set descriptions.
The King height on the CB version is 0.1 inch shorter. That’s not much difference at all.
It is my opinion there is not enough difference between the two sets to warrant the large price difference.
And this is not as if you don’t know how the CB set will look and feel in real life and will be taking a risk the CB set will be of low quality. You already own, use and really like it.
I am concerned you will be extremely disappointed if you spend such a big price difference and don’t see enough of a quality difference.
I don’t mean to be crass, but the HOS version looks to be completely created by the manufacturer with Frank Camaratta not having anything to do with the design. And the vast majority of the best sets coming out of HoS has seen Frank having some control in its creation.
So my suggestion would be to save your money for something else and enjoy what you already own.
Hos sells an identical set for twice the price.
Ive heard the hos one will be of higher quality, but aside from heavier weight, i never hear specifics. I am thinking of selling my set and buying the hos one.
Im curious to hear from people that have been able to directly compare the “higher end” india sets with the “lower end” ones. (At least that has been my understanding of cb vs hos)
Here is the cb one
