Are there any good chess books you can recommend for a beginner? The problem is mostly my middle game, because I don't know what to do after I developed my pieces. Thanks for the help.

Irving Chernev’s “Logical Chess Move by Move” Is outstanding. After that, you might go with Michael Stean’s “Simple Chess.”

The easiest strategy book I've seen is "Weapons of Chess" by Pandolfini. It's even easier to read than "Logical Chess" recommended by Atomic_Checkmate.
