Chess Informant Symbols in ChessBase?

Hi, All.  I'm beginning to get a feel for ChessBase's capabilities.  Is there a way to use Chess Informant's symbols whenever annotating in ChessBase?  For example, the semi-circle that indicates "better is."  I read Jonthan Edwards' nearly-useless book on Chess In the Digital Age, and it didn't mention that these symbols are built in, but, then again, he doesn't have much of anything useful to say in the book.  Even if they aren't built in, has anyone figured out a clever way to use them with ChessBase?

quite simple... right-click on your move list where you want the symbol annotations, a menu will appear... Point at "set prefix", another menu pops out the side with annotation options, including the one you suggest.

Note that the two menu items above the set prefix are also useful for annotations, "!,?," and "+-,=," are hopefully easier to notice

Is the Edwards book really that bad?

Jeez, that is simple!  Thanks a bunch.  I would have never looked under "set prefix," though; so thank you.

Yeah.  There's an Amazon review that says something like "all he does is say the names of the buttons on the ribbon."  I think that's actually an apt description of the book.  This sort of question that you were able to answer for me is the sort of thing I was hoping, at least, to get out of the book.  Wishing for the best, I was hoping find some clever uses of ChessBase.  However, the book just said super obvious stuff about ChessBase's database and other products.  As someone who absolutely sucks with initially learning any new software, I was really hoping to get a leg up on CB, but the book didn't help at all.  Complete waste of my time.  I finished it, just so I could give an accurate account of the book, and make sure I didn't miss anything good.

An easier way to annotate is with the Symbol Palette. It's not available via menu but can be evoked with the Ctrl+Alt+S keyboard shortcut.

There's a lot of extra functionality hidden away this way in Chessbase and Fritz GUIs. You can see the list of available functions via File -> Customize. There you can assign a key combo to Shortcuts, which produces a handy list in a separate window.
