I bought these chess pieces at an "antique" shop nearby where I live. They are not plastic of course and have some heft to them, so for $30 I didn't mind picking them up not knowing what they are. They came in this wooden box that probably did not come with them. I'm just curious if They are a certain type of piece. No brands or initials anywhere. I'm sure brand new they cost more than $30l. Either way, I'm happy just curious about what I bought.

No idea of the exact pieces but I too would be happy. You have a lovely chess set at a great price. I’m sure you’ll enjoy for many years.

Most likely made in India. Looks like a repro of the Fischer-Spassky set, or something inspired by it.

The design is Staunton and the Knights are a variation of the original British style.

See the "Deluxe Old Club", "Parker", "British", and "Fierce Knight" sets on The Chess Store for some similar sets:

I have a set like this too, but the Knights always include some slight difference in their design compared to other sets. That is perhaps because this is a very detailed design with many aspects that can differ (mane, teeth, neck curvature, chest).

Bishops are the next piece that can look different across Staunton set variations. Otherwise, Kings, Queens, Rooks, and Pawns have much less variation in their design.

A set like this would definitely cost more than $30 new.

The knights are quite different (which is also quite normal). How do they look all four of them together? Do both black knights sport the beautiful zebra style? Great deal!

If the black set is ebony then the knights are rose wood (of the ebony family of woods) either way great price for a 3.5 or 4" king set. Are they triple or double weighted?
