Hello,
I'm an avid young chess player doing a long term school project on chess set design - aiming to make my own chess set using inspiration from pre-existing sets and important places to me.
I, so far, have made 336 designs (of varying quality!) and have selected 39 of these to create a survey to help me to:
The survey has 25 questions but only 6 are required (and are just rating my designs 1-5)
If you could potentially offer up any expertise at all (even just a few personal favourite sets to look into), it would be greatly appreciated!
You don't even need to answer the survey if you don't want to, just reply/add to this post if that is easier
Thank you so much

(I have included a few example designs and inspirations which should help you to better know what you're getting yourself into:
1 is inspired mainly by a general Staunton design used at my chess club, 2 by a pole I found in my city of birth, 3 by a set my Grandpa made, 4 by the Dubrovnik set and 5 by St George sets/ John Calvert/ Lundy's work)
