Does anyone know the make and model of the pieces and board in this photo from The Queen's Gambit?

I don't know but the knight's ears being perked up like that reminds me of a fierce knight. Here is a thread about the CB version which looks like the one in the photo. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/my-new-fierce-knight-chess-pieces-from-chessbazaar

Thanks. I think the bishop and the rook are both quite different in that set. I think the tall angular bishop is the most unique piece. I don't think it's a CB set. I've been through their site and don't see it.

Eu também achei esse conjunto de peças muito bonitos, o chessbazaar não faz peças com essa excelência não.

Claro. Obrigado, Leles7. I lived in Sao Paulo for two years. Love Brazil.

Any one else know what set that would be above?

Thanks for looking @MCH818

Apparently Garry Kasparov assisted the production of the series in the area of chess related continuity.

He is on Twitter so why not tweet him the question if he hasn’t already answered it on that platform.

I found this set, it looks similar to that of the series, except for the knight

I think you’re right. Maybe they swapped out the knights for something different. Good find. Thanks.

Although looking further, the black pieces are in a different wood. But we’re getting closer. Thanks, again.

Just tweeted Garry Kasparov. We'll see if he replies.

Imagine if GK had been a member of chess.com all this time and inconspicuously playing patzers and masters from time to time? Because no Super GM does that ever. Maybe except Magnus Carlsen.

Didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Have you watched any of Magnus’ games with strangers on the Internet? Super GMs are spicy when no one’s physically around!

This set is the closest one I can find to the set in question.

KnightsForkCafe, thanks for the help. That is close.

Hey, my local chess shop claims that they were using Classic Staunton design in rosewood. That is like in the picture below, with the exception of the bishop which has French cut in the picture. If that's true, I don't know, but hope it helps.

Thanks, 13Cris. Nice pieces and very helpful.
