Please post your realtively new (within last five years or so) chess sets that cost $1,000 minimum -- preferably with links to where to purchase and photos. Say how old it is if you remember.

I bought the Olive wood/Cocobolo Craftsman set from HOS this year. It's not listed on their site anymore and the only pictures I found with a quick search are here: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=645915192143138&id=119405434794119 .

Techniquely, it wasn't over $1,000 as I think it sold for $995 and I probably got one of their ever-present discounts. But with the board and box it was well over $1,000.

Edit: I just looked up what I paid and the set sold for $895 before discounts. With box and board, tax, discounts, shipping, etc. I paid just over $1,200, so not as much as I first thought.

Great looking set, love that wood, and the knight is exquisite.

Gorgeous!  Looks like the set is still available with less expensive wood.

Edit: Might not be identical, but close.

@Gomer: Awesome board and pieces. HOS has some incredibly nice stuff.
