I am looking to get a new chess set. I have a couple from house of staunton and one from chessbazzar, I was looking at the Reykjavik II set Can anyone vouch for this one? or recommend another?
I am not sure if you are only interested in the Reykjavik II or if you would be up for similar variations. If it is the latter, then I can vouch for the HoS Fischer-Spassky Commemorative in ebony. I own it and it is pretty nice. I am not sure it is worth the asking price. HoS has other versions that are good as well. There is the New and Improved Fischer-Spassky for $399 which is also nice. HoS also makes a $149 version of the Fischer-Spassky Commemorative as well. I bought this one before but there were pieces with lots of issues.
