Different engines do have different playing styles. Looking at the products offered by Chessbase, I see the engine named Junior. Junior is reputed to have an interesting style where it understands sacrifices and compensation and likes kingside attacks.

I own Fritz 13 already and saw a bunch of other engines that Chessbase has. I'm never ever going to beat Fritz but I'm looking for a new chess 'experience' (interpret as you like). Will any of the Chessbase products offer that or am I just getting a new engine with little else? Honestly the only issue with Fritz that I have is that it doesn't show me all the captured pieces, which is SO annoying...I really just want to see what else is around. I really just analyze games and annotate PGNs...and lose to it of course.
