I just tried, and I have the exact same problem. Will make a fix today. Sorry. 😞
Chessconnect: a free chrome extension for electronic chessboards

No, @mx5driver, that one is entirely on me. I just submitted version 3.2.15 to the webstore which fixes this problem. Usually it takes less then 24 hours, before a new version is approved.
Thanks for making this known to me mx5driver! (nice car, by the way...)

There is again a problem with lichess. I am having trouble extracting the game id from the website. There is no documented format for this but it used to have a length of eight. Now, there are game ids with a length of 12. Meaning, I have to find a way around this.
I will post a fix today. Stay tuned...

...here we go: 3.2.16 is waiting for approval by Google. That will hopefully fix the game id problem once and for all. 🤞

3.2.16 has been approved and is available. Please, let me know, if there are still problems with lichess.

Lichess is still not working, The board connects , but pieces are not moving.
There is an error nr. 403.

Just tried on an Android tablet with the Kiwi browser, 3.2.16 worked fine with Lichess.
@Ceefee29 -
Which browser are you using?
Did you verify you got updated?

403 could be a problem with your lichess token. Can you please double check? (see here for more info on that)

Yes, problem solved. I gave permission to "play games with board api". I create a new token and the extension works. Finally after several weeks of suffering the board is working. I think not many people know about this solution and are thinking that your extension is the problem.

I am glad to hear that! Can you please explain in more detail, what the problem was? I can then add an appropriate error message to Chessconnect. My goal is that nobody runs into a problem that someone else already ran into. This is not easy to achieve, though.

The problem was.: I could start a game and made the connection. The game started only on the screen of my laptop. The moves that I made on the chessnut-board were not registrated on the screen. So I had to abort the game. This coasted me several warnings and i lost many points this way. I am using windows 11 and blue-tooth.
Chess.com works without any problems.
Many thxks, i will buy you a coffee

For instance, I had the issue today after the update where it would not connect, but I immediately went and checked the key. It was missing for some reason.
I put it in (I have mine saved in a password manager) and it worked immediately.

Incredible, your responsiveness and improvements have made this the must have "accessory" for e-boards.

Thank you so much. This latest version seems to be very good. I've just played a couple of games on Lichess and the extension worked excellently. Unfortunately the quality of my play didn't match the quality of your extension!!

Does this app work on iphones? I'm trying to troubleshoot my loss of time when using the Chessnut app on wifi.

No, it does not. The extensions do not work on any iOS devices.
It works on Android tablets using the Kiwi browser, I tried using the Kiwi browser on an iPad and it does not work. Since it works on an Android tablet I just use that most of the time.
I have not tried an Android phone.
Oh, and it is not an app, it is a browser extension.
Is anybody else having this kind of problem? It could in theory be related to the latest update.
