Chessnut Air or...

Hi everyone, I would like to buy an electronic chessboard,
budget 150/200€
beginner/intermediate level (I have been playing chess for many years but I have never read/studied and so I often make the same mistakes...), I would like it to be useful for my 11 year old son too,
not too big so I can carry it around.

Some time ago I was interested in the Chesnut Air, now I know that the Air+ has come out and there are also other models: eOne....

What do you recommend?
Thanks

I'm really happy with my chessnut air. It's not too big and doesn't take up much room, but it's also not too small. The pieces are plastic, but nice enough. It's also not that expensive, so if I ever lose interest, it's not a big loss.

I could play online against real people, but I more or less play against the chess.com bots, or against different engines. And I could play against a friend over the board, save the game and run an analysis later. And the piece recognition works really well.

The chessnut air is fantastic and also has notation.

Hello everyone and thanks for your advice.

I saw there's also the Chessnut Go.

The Chessnut Air is portable too, right?

Between the 2 chessboards (Air and Go)?

The Chessnut Go is much more portable and comes with its own protective storage case. As with the Air it has notation around the board. The board is smaller of course but I've never found it to be an issue.

Are the functions the same?

Thanks

The Chessnut Go has all the same features as the Air, Air+ and Pro and uses the same software. I have three electronic boards, the Go, the Air + and the DGT Centaur. If I could have only one it would be the Go.
