I do not understand how the computer workout feature can make mistakes such as this one- it says: Black mate in 65, i make one move then it says: Black mate in 17, how does the computer make a mistake like that? I know that the computer does not use table bases because I have compaired the computer's "best move" to the true best move in an end game and often, especially when there are still more then ten moves to play they are not the same.  chess.com, why don't you have the computer workout use a stronger computer, or at least use a table base?

First off, you were black, right? Secondly, they don't use a stronger computer or tablebase because they want the computer to make mistakes as a human would. If it played at a rating of 3000 or executed endgames perfectly, no one would be able to beat it or learn (much) from it.

but when you click the "best move" feature, dont you expect it to give you the true best move?
