The knight is from Lardy mainstream (budget) line, since Lardy factory was also located in the Jura region as Chavet, they used the same wood also called Jura wood with the swirly grains.

Those are nice sista! Age is always difficult with Chavet, my guess it's from around 1985-2000? Pretty much well preserved seeing how the grains are still clearly visible, I guess it's been in the box all these years?
Hi not sure of its history. Did come with a chavet box but didn't have a number on the side so only guessing it's b202.
It's not in pristine brand new perfect condition so think it's been used but the small amount of imperfections are difficult to see so not bothered about that.
Only paid £30 which is exactly what I wanted to pay.
Very smooth service under each piece, unfelted and unweighted.
Just happened across this set and I'm curious as it looks similar to a chavet (the wood even has those swirls) but not sure about the Knights. The set is quite tiny with the King at 5cm.
Not thinking of buying just interested in your opinions on make of set?
