You can't play Chess 960 with DGT Centaur because, even if you can set up any starting position, and at some point castle on your side using the set up keys, the program won't castle on it's side because it is "unaware" it is playing Chess 960 and cannot castle according to the rules of that chess variant.

There is an old thread here on modifing wood pieces with self stick foil. Much better feel with the wood.
