Whoa, doggies! When you said collector, Chuck, I didn't think you meant COLLECTOR. This is the way I am with chess books. How many full-sized, non-travel sets do you own? How many boards? How many clocks?
Using spice rack organizers is an excellent idea; I don't know if I would have thought of it.

Thanks, Ron! I can't wait to see your set. I thought about those vertical boards. I thought it was a lot of money to invest in displaying one set.
With all the snow, it has been the perfect time to reorganize my Soviet sets and my boards. Now all of my vintage sets save three are on display. I used spice rack organizers for the pieces and large plate organizers for the boards. The rest of my collection will just have to wait...
