Will it be available in e-format (Kindle, mobi, pdf, etc.) ?

Good question. Best is to ask the publisher (the author usually doesn't know until he sees it happen). My book publishers are always listed at:

How is one of your more famous students, Howard Stern, doing these days?

I lost track of him quite awhile ago. He was quite avid and had a solid 1727 Standard on ICC.

Avatar of danheisman

Yes, some of my books are either on Kindle/IPad already or soon will be.

Howard is doing great. He still plays regularly on the ICC and some of his games are anonymously featured on my ICC video series at: http://danheisman.home.comcast.net/~danheisman/Main_Chess/dan_videos.htm

Elements of Positional Evaluation 4th edition seems well-received and is selling well. If you have it (or any of my books) and want an errata sheet, please email me via my website danheisman.com .

Hello Dan or Dear Mr. Heisman,

I read som of your articels in "Novice Nook" in german language, "Patzer53" was so friendly to translate them (in very good quality I think).

Are you thinking about to sell your books in other language, for example german? That would be great, its faster and easier to read.  Wink

If not - I will buy them in spite of.

Regards,

Dirk

Dirk,

Thanks for your interest. The idea of translating my books into other languages is up to my publishers, so it is best to contact them. So far as I know, only "Back to Basics: Tactics" has been translated into another language: Spanish. I list each of my publishers at http://danheisman.home.comcast.net/~danheisman/Events_Books/book_descriptions.html

Best wishes for the new year to all.

Regards, Dan Heisman

To answer goldendog, Howard is doing quite fine. Like all chess players, he has his ups and downs, but his perseverance is very good.

If the books Elements of Positional Evaluation or A Guide to Chess Improvement are going to be traslated in Spanish please share that information, I would be happy to get those books :)

Happy New Year!!

Thanks. You would have to ask my publishers, in this case Russell Enterprises and Everyman, respectively. Russell Enterprises did translate the tactics book into Spanish, so it's certainly possible. Happy New Year! - Dan H

can anyone tell how to download its pdf version?

I don't believe it legally exists in pdf format, so...no.

(I think it is available in Kindle format.)
