Finally just bought a "new" original book today! What do you guys think !?

By new, I mean just bought it today, but it's in used condition( 1980 published).

I paid exactly  $8.12 American dollars for it.

Working the puzzles on a regular basis, if you spend enough time on each, should help your middle-game pattern-recognition.  But, in addition, having verbal explanations of chess principles (for example, from a Silman book or video) might save you time.
