Finding Chess Sets

Is it possible to find the stuff like the Staunton "Executive Tournament Chess Set Combo" in a local store? Are there any good stores that offer a nice choice of chess sets?

I like the ones I see online, and will probably wind up buying one online, but I just want to take a look around first. I'm sure you guys understand, I hate buying stuff when I don't actually get to see it other than through some sort of picture. Plus price checks are always nice, if something is around the same amount in a store it makes more sense to buy it instead of paying the shipping.

I spent hours looking at those repetitive e bay auctions and found the sets sold by Yipproo to be well made. The bridled knight set I ordered was on par with sets costing twice as much and all I elected to do was change them to a felt base.
