Project Gutenberg has some classics: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/subject/1677
Free chess books
Also here two (interactive) classics.
Lots of free stuff at archive.org. Much of it may be duplicates of stuff on the Project Gutenberg page.

"Please have a look at the FREE New In Chess Books & Files app in iTunes Preview. Read and play through the free chess book & free chess file contained in the app: the classic 'Chess Fundamentals' by Capablanca and the first issue of our 'Secrets of Opening Surprises' files."
Steve download Chessify. You can take pictures from your book or screenshots and it converts it to a FEN. You can then use its engine to play around with the position or upload copy and Upload the FEN to chess.com or lichess. I most use it to take pictures of interesting lines or positions for my study group on lichess. It saves a lot of time.
It looks up YouTube videos about that set up.
Thanks again!!
