Yes,
What I did is
1. create a pgn file with the opening moves.
2. When you start engine match and get to the engine vs engine pop up box.
Go to the Database section and where it says openings, click on the ... button and select the pgn you created.
3. You can have several openings in the pgn, just select the range of games in the pgn file. I tend to stick to one opening so I just choose games 1 - 1
4. If you want to alternate colors, just select the checkbox.
5. Now for the really hard part... This makes me go WTF every time. select the Checkbox 'Use'. Why would I go to all the troubles of entering a file and information if I didn't want to use it chessbase????
6. Select what engines you want to use in the 'white' and 'black' section.
7. enter a database in the 'output' section that you want the games saved to.
8 Don't forget to set the amount of games etc... in the root 'engine vs engine' section.
9. press OK and enjoy
Hey all
Does anyone here use Fritz 15 Gui? I'm trying to set up a match against 2 engines. The only problem I have is I can't pick the desired opening. Does anyone know the know how?
