Fritz 15

My Fritz 15 is en route. Can't wait! Be sure to elaborate on the troubleshoot once you resolve your technical issue. Cheers.

No resolution yet :( I wonder if the same problem occurred with previous editions.
Chet, have you the latest update? I can't find the button you say isn't working, but I did a position search with Fritz 15 and it worked fine.

Early releases of Chessbase products are notorious for their bugs.
Chessbase 13 still has plenty of them, after no less that 14 updates. Chessbase 12 has cured most of them after 44(!!!) updates...
That said, I do not have Fritz 15, nor do I intend getting it.

I didn't know there was an update, the program just came out!!!
How did you do a positon search?
To check if you have the latest version, go to File, Activation and Update Program.
Here's a small video where I search a position that first appeared in Fischer-Spassky '92, game 1 ---->>
Edit: Just to echo IM pfren's comments, Fritz 14 has had dozens of updates (with more to come, probably) and Fritz 15 is at update 5 already.

Crappov, thank you for the video. I guess that's by design to have to go to "Copy Board" in 15. The version of Fritz that I was using (Fritz 8) didn't require that, it just pulled up the games with one click.
Thank you, you've solved the problem for me.

In Fritz 14, you can search for the position shown on the board by using the "Analysis" Tab and clicking "Find Position", it will then search in whichever database is currently open.

lol Wow, there's a one-click solution in Fritz 15, too. So my solution takes the long way around the barn!
Hey, Chet! See Trevor's solution above!

I'm having problems with Fritz 15. Currently, it isn't producing positions with the "find position" button. When I click on it, it pulls up every game in the database except for the position I want. Does anyone have a solution?
