Going Wild with BCE Blitz Colors

A few days ago a box of filament has been delivered, some exotic flavors were ordered. The machine was loaded immediately. Reporting results.

Here' a Blitz set in ultramarine blue and semitransparent on the light side.

Then there is this one in violent violet paired with pure white. Purple Rain, anyone?

One black, one red, one gold and one silky yellow coming up!

Very nice, the red looks really vibrant with the yellow or gold top on the bishop. 

The plastic version looks too toy-like. Wood is better but is too pricy.

Chess can be played from ages 5 to 105. I have the wood and 4 versions of this BCE set. More to arrive. They brighten my chessboard atmosphere quite nicely, but to each his own. 

I have to say EG3, you're persistent in requesting such an action.

Let me remind you that my fortress of solitude is tighter than Fort Knox here in the States.

I love the style and playability of the blitz set.

Others seem to dislike his colored works, I enjoy them quite well. I'm having a future set made in violet, this color violet as shown in this model example of the PLA I've chosen. Soon to arrive in the fall.

Great colors for a well-liked and popular Blitz Stage 1 BCE chess set.

These will go well with the Red and Yellow BCE prototype magnetic board.

2. Lipstick Red and Silky Yellow

The gradient color evolution of BCE Stage 1 Blitz King yellow, from Butter to Silky to Melon to Silly Gold Yellow hues. 

Which is/are your best liked yellow from this group of 4?

I own 3 with the exception of A not being in the BCE Blitz inventory. I may inclued this one as well in a future order, perhaps?

Thanks, these colors are pleasing to the eyes, not to cause a lot of eye strain then again they will be used in rapid games so that's not really a factor of concern for me. The stability of the pieces is what is crucial with this set and it passes all the marks on that point. 

I have 2 more sets I'd like to have crafted (Dubrovnik and BCE Blitz). Classic colors with a slight variation to white. It will be of a marble PLA filament and a silky black. A few other interesting amenities I will request to be added to make it a really nice set of chessmen

Quite, It has reminded me of fresh seedless purple grapes or purple plums and fresh slices of ripe melon or cling peaches in natural fruit juices . A fruit bonanza.
