I use Palm Hiarcs on a Z22.

I don't have any trouble seeing it or distinguishing pieces. I've shown it to a few people (under 35) and they also had no problems. The board looks similar to this:

I'd like to know if there is any one particular handheld that is outstanding compared to others. Are all models difficult to see? Difficult to distinguish pieces, etc? I would use it mostly for traveling, want something other than my laptop which has Chessmaster11 and Fritz11 installed
