How do players carry this chess set around !?

Similar to BattleDuck's set up. However I added a couple of Harley Quinn patches. I have a friend with the same bag and board. Just wanted to keep mine different from his.

Update on the frameless board I got from bestchessset.com They now have them back in stock. I really like this board personally. It's my favorite wooden veneered board. Smaller than a full size tournament veneered board with the same tournament square size. It can also be a drop in board for a table if you so choose to have a removable chessboard from a chess table / end table.

Where can I get similar board now?  Is it Rechapados Ferrer board? 

Also he said BOTH chess sets UNDER $100 and it's wooden and I assume 3.75 inch or 4.0 inch king , is it even possible for such a price !? 

Also what about those velvet bags for chess pieces do you purchase them separately or they come with pieces !?

Also where's the best place to buy a chess carrying bag ?

Prices are quite cheap there and nice looking boards similar to post #4 , do you think they are OK quality , probably polish made or is it better to go more expensive like RPF boards?  

This Polish shop has a very good quality of their boards. I have one from them .

And amazing prices way way cheaper then American websites. Unfortunately most of their boards sold out pretty much, do you know any similar websites? 

chessgamesshop.com maybe. They don't have as many options but they do have a few options at good prices.

Nice prices but they charge almost 3Times as much 2 for sure for their shipping cost, so ...

I've seen some nice boards RPF they have 

19.7 inch board with 2.17 inch playing square 

And 

21.7 inch board with 2.3 inch square

They both looks the same 

Which option is better do you think?  

Also post #4 do you think his squares exactly 2.25 inches?  What's his board dimensions then, because it seems like they hardly any boards with exactly 2.25 inch squares. Maybe his board is one of this sizes I just mentioned or something. What do you think? 

The 2 1/8 inches it good for bases ranging from 1 7/16 to 1 5/8 inches. 2 3/8 inches is good for 1 7/8 to 2 inches base. I prefer 2 1/8 and 2 1/4 inch squares for boards the most. Bigger than this I think is too big for my personal taste. 

I got my fair share of pretty boards and sets that are nice and rarely get used. This isn't it. You originally asked how people carry such sets around, which I found funny because its my main use set, and the one I find most practical. This isn't part of my "collection", it really is the set I grab and use when I meet with my friends. And it seems others in this thread have similar kits.

I use it because: it has the USA standard 2.25 inch squares, it just fits inside my bag that is supposed to be for 18" boards, it has maple and walnut squares that I prefer as to my eyes it gives good contrast to the dark pieces, and it was cheap - i got it used for 50$ from ebay.

It got dings on corners. And it will get more as I keep using it. If it becomes unusable Ill get another one that will have similar wood tones and will fit in my bag. And ill buy whichever is the cheapest one I can find that fits the criteria, its not a work of art, its my playing board...

Id search for replacement on etsy and ebay first. And would probably find something around 75-100$, prices are going up however. Inflation is real.

 Mine is the 18" one for 60$, the bags for the chess set are there too for 5$, I like them as they prevent pieces bouncing of the concrete all over the place when I open up the zippered pockets.

Also they make the color choice for the first game easy as I ask my opponent to pick a bag.

This bag isn't special, there are similar ones for sale at most online chess stores. This one has 2 pockets for chess pieces and one pocket that fits a clock. I have bought a few things from chesshouse.com so id get a replacement from them. But if they didn't have one id just get something similar from a different place - it just needs to be same size to fit the board. Its just a bag, it makes it convenient to store the set and move it.

Its 90$ I like the contrast between the darker rosewood of the pieces and walnut on the board. They have ebonized sets in 3.75 and 4" between 50$ and 100$. The set is a personal choice - I like sets similar to Fishcer/Spassky 1972 set. Which happens to be the other one I use in this kit just for variety.

It cost less when I got it, so id shop around and see what the best deal is for a basic clock that does the time limits I want. 

Scary similar - that borderless board you have is exactly like what i used before i got this current one - i prefer the lighter dark squares, I can recreate that photo set of yours :

This day and age the pieces can be whatever piece they want to be LOL! The Knight can be a Bishop if he thinks that he is one. LOL!
