Can anyone help identify this chess set for my friend, his father who passed away bought it maybe 20 years ago, seems like a Renaissance type chess set

@dobalou - it looks like a modern replica of this original cast iron set made by E.G. Zimmermann from the mid 19th century. https://www.chess-collection.de/german-chess-set--thirty-year-war--by-e-g-zimmermann--ca-1850
