Identifying the History of an Alice in Wonderland Themed Chess Set

I inherited this set three years ago. Every so often I go back and try and figure out information about it, but nothing comes up. The company on the papers is Slater from Glen Clove, NY. They were an electric company and didn't have anything to do with chess. Pawns, Bishops, Knights, and Rooks all come with a pamphlet where it gives a quote from Alice in Wonderland and then relates the piece to the company. There are no marks that represent who is responsible for making it. On Reddit, it was thought that it looks similar to the works of Oleg Raikis. I was recommended to come here. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! I've been trying to upload photos, but I haven't been able to figure it out. The image under posting tips is not an option.

Perhaps the set is actually a "Through the Looking Glass" chess set.

@justbefair Thank you for posting the images and great find on "Through the Looking Glass"! Now I just need to try and find the maker of it.

I’ve had the same set for right about 50 years at this point (although w/o the cool wooden box). No idea who made it, but hung on to it all these years because it’s just such a cool and well designed set.
