Fundamental Chess Openings by Van der Sterren is about explanation rather than reams and reams of moves, I love it.
Is there any opening book which explains the possibilities of the arised position rather than the moves of the opening? I am interested in the advantages of a reached position of an opening and the possible continuation. Thanks
