Jaques-style Chess Boards

Falling Leaf Chess introduces two new Jaques-style Chess Boards, the 3rd and 4th in a series. These beautiful boards feature recessed 2-1/4" tournament-size squares made from rich black walnut and hard rock maple with a silky-smooth playing surface. Board #3 has an 1-1/4" white oak frame with uniquely styled lap joints and walnut doll pins for support. Board #4 features an 1-1/4" wide mitered cherry frame with walnut splines for extra support. Both boards have an oak hardboard backing and felt feet to protect whatever the board rests upon. Each board measures 20-1/2" x 20-1/2" x 1" and weigh 6 to 7 lbs.
