Lardy set?

Looks good for a mid-century Lardy to me. I would call it that. The box looks right too. If you are looking at bidding on these auctions, probably better to post pictures of the set here, but not the link to the auction. You could be inviting more bidders and therefore raising your own price.

Thanks for replies. Bit of a difference of opinion so not really sure what to think. What is a proto Lardy?
I'm sort of interested but wanted to check people's thoughts on here first.
Yes get what you mean about putting link down but I've tried copying photos from ebay in the past and couldn't manage it.

It is so hard to see what it is from the photos. I agree the box looks like a Lardy box from the 40s or 50s. The knight definitely look like a Lardy. You can see a Proto-Lardy here: http://www.chess-museum.com/lardy.html. It is my opinion that you should be able to find better Lardy sets out there.
Thanks I'll take a look.
I'm sure there are better Lardy sets but the ones I've seen so far that are weighted etc are way out of my price range.
Would probably only pay £30 tops.
This is second listing of this set as didn't sell last time so might be open to offers.
Hi. What do you think of this set?
Is it a Lardy or Spanish?
