Great idea with magnets and beautiful touch with wenge on the inside and bottom border. def brings out the paduk. Wonderful piece, simply beautiful!!

Thank you for the kind words! Its actually red heart, and not paduak. In person it is more red, and I was trying to match the red in the pieces. Beautiful wood that I have never used before
@mmbwp On the underside of the playing surface, please tell me, that is NOT a finished ebony plug covering the opposing corner magnet/slug. Because my mind would be blown if it was!

Nope...sorry to dissappoint, but that would be a cool idea for future builds. Its just the way the light catches the magnet reflection. In a previous build like this, I hide the magents on the storage side underneath the wood, but didnt have that option on this one

I recognize the name and board style from Reddit. @mmbwp had some other very impressive boards he made and IIRC very reasonable prices for the quality.
