Nice! I have never seen this before but I like this one. It kind of reminds me of a cross between a BFII set and the Kadun 60s retro set. The way the knight’s mane curves reminds me of a famous set created by an artist. I cannot remember the name of it.
Local finds

Thanks to a clue on FB, I found this thread by mr BurnAmos. It shows lot similarities with one of his German sets collection.

Thanks for the info! I like your set a lot more. I think it has to do with the bases being larger than the heads. Also, I like your knights better.

Oh Great One: the more i look at the “Unknown Origin” set the more i like it. The tall-ish heads on the royalty and the small-ish heads on the pawns is a nice contrast. Do you know the woods with certainty? The grain on the dark pieces is very nice, subtle not overbearing.
BTW-the clock said it would improve your memory, how’s that working for ya?

Well I know it's not Jura wood for sure as there is no swirl grains and feel substantial less dense, no maple either as it's heavier than that. The grains on the white pieces are hardly visible because of the patina but they're straight, I'm pretty sure it's boxwood.
The clock certainly improves my memory for sure, it's just I wish I knew which part it improves.

You know, I also have deja vu feeling with those knights. I feel like I've seen it somewhere before but I just can't remember where. So if you happen to see that knight again or sort of, let me know

I remember now. It was Marcel Duchamp. Now that I look at the knights again I think the only similarity would be in the mane. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/copyright-war-over-duchamp-chess-set

I have the same 50mm board with notation, now finally found the same size board without notation. Apparently this is a German board, the smaller sizes were issued with Bohemia pieces.

The third on the right of the photo, look at the base and the collar and the head ball that is more spheric than the others

Awesome sets Michael! Also this photography area where you display your collection, is this your playing space as well? Or is chess photography also a big hobby of yours? I love how you've curated such a collection from local buys, alas here in BC there are not a ton of used chess sets that are selling for a reasonable price that are in good condition. People are asking over $100 for cheap worn out sets and $300+ for a basic set. It's much cheaper for me to buy new direct from India.
Unknown origin.
