This German Knight set seems like the ones Chess Cafe use to sell when they use to sell sets. I bought one for about $20 in Rosewood / Boxwood with extra Queens back about 7 years ago. I gave the set away as a birthday gift.

If I wanted to get a German Knight set today. I would get the one House of Chess sells. For about $50 you couldn't find one much cheaper.

@pawneral do you have the eBay link that you got it from. I’ve been looking out for a German knight set that I like. This set is nicely proportioned and unlike a lot of others the shape of the bishops hat works well.

Not sure he ships to Australia. He's based in Maryland (US). I would message him on eBay first just to be sure, and possibly get a shipping quote before going through the trouble of purchasing. The box was about 10x12x6 inches. About 3 pounds.

Username: goodknightmike here and on ebay. It doesn't look like he's too active here anymore. His eBay storefront is very active. He responded within a day.
