Whoah, that youtube series looks great - thanks for the link. I love and prefer the book, myself, but I'll definitely watch this, too, to let it sink in again.
Edit: Interestingly, the videos appear to follow the book's games and the written themes (and the moves that Chernev considers, for example) but is not a reading of the exact text. This must have been a lot of work to put together!

Thanks for sharing. I enjoy it. I am also familiar with several books. However, I can't say that they have been helpful to me. I've found only one book particularly useful in this regard - "The Middle Game in Chess" by E.M. Znosko-Borovsky, which offers principles and strategies for development and planning. I highly recommend it as a guide to improving your skills in this phase of the game. Aside from books, I also find sources like https://graduateway.com/essay-examples/never-give-up/ useful because I think that the ability not to give up and to fight to the end is an important aspect of chess and life in general. For me, the author's thoughts on such articles are a source of inspiration and motivation for my own chess development.
