I am using the chessnut app on my iphone (although I assume it would work the same on the ipad). Is the link you sent me just so that I can mimic what I am already doing if I did not already have access to the chessnut app? Is there some other advantage that I cannot think of to use chessconnect? The only thing I saw at the beginning off the thread was that there was a way to play in tournaments. I did not delve that deeply into the chessnut app yet but assummed if i backed out a page or two I would also be able to enter a tourney. Am I incorrect? THanks

I too would recommend the chessnut pro. Their integrations work the best and team is responsive in solving queries.

I prefer Square-off Pro. It is tournament standard size with amazing chessmen, easy to store and carry and you can play on both Chess.com and Lichess. The battery life is around 8 hours which is incredible.

I have the dgt pegasus, its fine and works well, but little smaller. I have the square off pro, the worst eboard of them all, no piece recognition, and always disconnects in the middle of the game, you always need to put the pieces in the middle of the board and push a little hard to recognize the piece. Then, i decided to get the chessnut pro....this is an amazing board for a serious player, because of the price. it has piece recognition and sensitive sensors, tournament size board, and the only downside is, little expensive, no options for weighted pieces, but i chat with chess companies in india, they say they are working on chessnut pro weighted pieces to be available. Another good thing with the chessnut pro, you can buy sensors and replace the regular pieces to pieces you like, and chess companies are also offering chessnut pro sensor- ready pieces. I ordered one and replaced the regular pieces and its amazing. I like it very much

I have Square-off Pro and it works perfectly, I have Chessnut and Chessup2 as well and they are also OK, of course, Chessnut is better than Chessup2 from my experience. I prefer and use Square-off Pro more often because it is standard size; both chessnut and chessup are travel size which are too small for real chess experience. Chessnut Pro is also as good as Square-off Pro and standard size too and I am happy with using both so far.
