Need help identifying this large wooden set

I was at a local used bookstore and came across a complete large wooden set sitting loose in a bowl in the "collectibles" section of the store.

There was no identifying info, not even a price tag.  So I took it up to the desk and asked how much they wanted.  The girl thought about it for a minute and then said, almost apologetically, "I can sell it to you for $10", as if she didn't think anyone would pay so much for a chess set.  And then on top of it, I got 20% off with my rewards card.  Total cost: $8.80 after tax!

The kings are 6" tall, have a 2" base, and weigh 127g

It looks like it was manufactured recently and with nice craftsmanship, but I couldn't find anyone selling this design when googling "wood chess set 6 inch king".  Anyone know who might have made this?  Thank you.

I know nothing about the set but, that's a great deal for $10. Even better at $8.80. Congratulations. Do you have a board big enough for them?

Other than the king's finial, they look a lot like https://www.chesshouse.com/collections/wooden-chess-pieces/products/6-rosewood-chessmen

I have a chess table with 2.5" squares. The pieces fit, but they still seem a awkwardly big. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

White to play and Mate in 2. White moving up the board (i.e., a1 is lower left)

Thanks. The knights look similar. The king's finials on my set actually look identical to the king's finial on an overstocked amazon set a bunch of us bought last year.

They could be father and son

Great deals on both of those sets @goodspellr! Still, that table is very special.

The answer is indeed 1. Qb2

1. ... f1=Q/R/B 2. Ng3#

1. ... f1=N 2. Qg2#

1. ... Kh2 2. Qh8#

1. ... Bh2 2. Nxf2#

I think you mean Qxh2+ (a1 is the bottom left square). But, even so 1. Qh2+ is met with Kxh7, and Mate in 2 is no longer possible.
