Interesting. They are cabinet makers, and that fact alone should mean that they know how to finish their woods properly and satin smoothly.

Indeed. I own a few boards and this is one of the best finished board if not the best. My pictures do not do any justice.
Being a cabinet maker, he is probably over qualified to build a chess board.

Indeed. But, I found a local board maker which means I don't have to pay for shipping. It's a huge saving.
