ChessX is a really great free PGN browser and chess database program with releases for both Macintoshes and Windows machines. A new version 1.2.0 ("Typewriter") was just officially released yesterday with numerous enhancements. You can use it with the free stockfish engine. The stockfish engine is the strongest chess engine available.

Great! Thanks for making this! I use and put my games in it and also all the .pgn chess books I buy from EverymanChess. Also I use a lot of the Chess.com free .pgn downloads too. I feel that ChessX is responsible for my recent rating climb.
