I'd say different from the Etsy set. Look at the bishops and the knights. Here are the knights.
looks like a 1938-1940 jaques set. king damaged so may account for it being short. are there stamps on one rook and one knight?

Can anyone hazard a guess as to who made this set? The person I got it from claimed his grandfather owned it and got it from England but he had no more information than this. He said it was about a century old. Seems Jaque-y but not Jaques. King is 3 inches tall.
