Anyone know of a good opening book/ catalogue listing non e4 openings?  Thanks for any ideas

Do you want a list of non e4 openings, or do you want a book explaining those openings? If you just want a list, have a look at the game explorer: http://www.chess.com/explorer/

Use the Chess.com openings explorer or buy a copy of MCO.

The problem with MCO is that it is hard to track.  Game Explorer is a really cool feature, but if you want annotated games, then you should go buy a book.

I would like something explaining them if possible, or a list if thats all that is available.  I use explorer a lot but would rather something hands on that I can take with me and also, not being a premium member, that is more in depth.  Forgive my ignorance but what is MCO and where do I get it?

What book possibilities exist that y'all know of too?

MCO is modern chess openings.

MCO stands for "Modern Chess Openings". You'll often see it written, MCO-15 (Modern Chess Openings, 15th edition). That's the latest edition. Basically, MCO is the bible of chess openings.

If you want books that explain openings in detail, take a look at these ones: http://www.chess.com/equipment/chess+books/openings

This one caught my eye: http://www.chess.com/eq/chess+books/ideas-behind-the-modern-chess-openings-attacking-with-white2

I haven't read it myself, but it looks like the kind of book you're looking for.
