Chavet repro on the old school Drueke.

I'm definitely more and more a fan of the 2 inch squares, I like the tighter fit.

I like 55mm, but for the USA stuff it seems more of a choice between 2 inches and 2 1/4 inches. I'm on the 2 inch team . . .

Very nice...I'm starting to want one of those Drueke boards.I'll lie down until the desire goes away.-happy.png

Lol, good luck. Never works for me.

Like both ... 50mm and 55mm. Same set different boards.

MCH818

I like both ways but I prefer more roomier over tighter.

Here is my HoS Collectors on my Drueke 64. The fit is just right.

Here is my B210 on the Drueke. It is pretty roomie. I prefer this over the above.

I think the below looks good but it is too tight for me. The raised frame somewhat hems in my kings which I always manage to bang against the frame.

Ooh look at post #5 Mr Magictwenger! Another beautiful Drueke board 😍 !  So on what position of lying down are you now?

Thanks! Yours looks great as well. The design is just beautiful to me. The knights remind me of the knights here at chess.com which I really love.

If I buy it Sir Michael and reiterate to the wife how much money I've recently spent on my other hobbies.....The position I'd wind up being in is flat on my back.

5.5cm to 5.7cm squares are optimal for me. I can plaý on a board this size with a variety of King heights.

Agreed; thanks for posting happy.png

I have little to no knowledge when it comes to identifying chess sets, prices or history...but even this I can appreciate as a nice chess set happy.png

Wits-end

True, but you’ll heal faster knowing you have the new board awaiting you.
