Really bad chess app for ipad

Just came out today. I was reading ipad stuff. Called really bad chess app. The engine automatically gives you pieces and the engine pieces and as a lower player you try to beat the engine. As you checkmate him more often the pieces start to even out. 3200 downloads when I looked last. Is free.

What do you think of it. Does it help your chess tactics. It reminds me of some of those crazy puzzles with six knights etc.

I think if the engine were stronger it might prove more interesting. Either that or the settings for the engine are very weak at the beginning. 4 knights on the board can be very difficult even if you do have queens on the board.

I was pretty skeptical before trying it, but a friend of mine convinced me to at least give it a go... and I must say, it's pretty interesting.  Two advantages is has going for it (in my opinion) are that 1) it's sooooo ridiculous that it's impossible to take too seriously, so you can just have fun with it, and 2) the ranking system keeps it interesting in that if you keep winning, the board setups (although always random) will systematically get harder, until you start losing, at which point they progress back towards getting easier.  You can challenge yourself to see how hard of a board you can beat.
