They are OK for low rated players, and even medium rated ones might benefit from them. However nothing in them should be taken for granted- analytical holes abound, and all "annoying" continuations are deliberately ignored/ omitted. I do not know if this odd recipe is a speciality of Dzindzi or his collaborators , but it does not taste good to me.
So, better concentrate at the first place to his DVD's that are NOT about some opening, but rather his middlegame/ strategy/ endgame ones- they are certainly quite good value for their money. Dzindzi is still a strong player, and as such his sayings do have a certain value. It's just his opening DVD's that are, errr, let's say "lazy".
Has anyone used Roman Dzindzichashvili DVD's? If so did you enjoy them? If not would you be interested in seeing them. I have the whole of 36 or 40 volumes from the 2005 sereis of Roman's Lab. Came into money and swaped the all up at once but I have only watched about 5 and the rest are plastic sealed still. Maybe this is why my rating is still so low. Anyone have any opionions on this Roman's Lab sereis. Good and Bad
