Scandinavian Queen D-6 Variation

This book is older, but also covers it:

Then there is Starting Out: The Scandinavian, which about a third of that book is on 3...Qd6.
I own both of them. The 2001 book is good for someone who knows the Scandinavian, and is looking for an additional 40 highly annotated games, but there are more variations than there are explanations.
There is a third that I don't own, and it depends on which line you are looking to play. The Scandinavian: Move by Move is on 3...Qd6, but it's on the older 4...c6 line rather than the more modern (as in last 20 years modern, not modern as in the last year or two) 4...a6.
I quite playing the 3...Qd6 lines over a decade ago. I for the most part don't play the Scandinavian any more, but the few times I do, which is maybe once every two years in serious tournament play, I prefer 3...Qa5, so can't speak for how good or bad the books are in the last 10 years written on 3...Qd6, including the Lakdawala book - only aware of its existence and which specific variation it covers.

I used to play the Center Counter but one day I asked myself if I feared losing more than I desired winning. That was the end of that.

I have all the Scandinavian Defense books mentioned earlier. "The Safest Scandinavian" by Vassilios Kotronias is a very good choice for the 3...Qd6 variation. Also instructive, and which covers all of the Scandinavian variations including the 3...Qd6 is the following...
"Understanding the Scandinavian" by Sergey Kasparov...
I would recommend it as your second book on the Scandinavian.
