Got that one too.  Classy but no one uses analog in tournaments anymore.

if they only made a digital chess clock that went, tick tock, tick tock.

Maybe this one does:

nope, that one does not tick tock... cool looking clock, but complicated i think.

I don't think that is correct, Jolbac. The dark wood is stained wood, not Mahogany. I own several vintage Ruhla/Garde clocks, including similar looking ones with dark wood, and they are all stained. These clocks were produced in communist East Germany using local wood (East Germany did not have access to imported wood, AFAIK).

I would like to put forward my nomination in the "ugliest chess clock category".  I'm not sure that I could sleep knowing that this was in the house:

On the other hand I think you're being a big meany _Number_6, I love my Garde Digital. In my opinion it's the most aestetically pleasing digital clock on the market.  Not ideal if you play a lot of fast paced blitz, but for casual play, it just looks and feels so right (I could bang it's buttons all night):

Seems to be original, as soon as I have it I will examen it.
Bought it in Belgium, don't know its origin (yet)

Nice yes ;-)

This is by far my favourite chess clock from my collection. The design is modern and as far as I know unique. I never found any information about it, neither in my books nor in internet. I purchased two pieces, one with blue, the other with red buttons. It was manufactured by E. Breitinger (Uhrmacher, Alsbisrieden-Zürich). Interesting is that on the dial from one clock it is written “Läufer„,  on the other one „Vivax“. I saw a third piece in an antiques shop in Bern, Switzerland, bad condition and very expensive (I think around 300 dollars).
