Didn't know those ones, except Seirawan (but his isn't really a tactic puzzle book)

I see. I have not read that Seirawan book, but lots of positive review from that book. But I guess you are right, that is not the usual tactics puzzle book. But it does have some exercises.

Now there is this book, I love this book. I love the puzzles in this book. And this has 1205 puzzles. I have never seen anyone posted this book here at ches.com. Though this book is probably for 1600-2400 range. But there are puzzles here that lower strength can pick up.

Another good beginner tactics book is Chess Tactics for Kids by Murray Chandler.

Winning Chess Tactics for Junior by Lou Hays.

I have not read this book, but based on reviews, this is another good tactic book. The puzzles are not too easy and not too hard. Even if is has a junior word,it seems this book is for intermediate level.

I’m going through Pandolfini’s Chess target practice

 The puzzles are fairly simple

I think great for a beginner
