The smallest dog faced set

I don't know if it actually is the smallest dog faced knight set, but the king measures in at 2.25" (57mm).

I believe it to be a legitimate Chavet set, the pawn tops have the signature jura wood swirls, and the kings and queens are leaners. Picked up the whole set with a box for $20 CAD. It's small enough that it will replace my Phillipines set for work, a smaller footprint is always better for work.

@Ibuildchess Nice set! Here's my Size 0, dogfaced Drueke branded set. Made in France. 2.2" (56mm) King. Back in the day, there may have been a Size 00 dogface set that was a tiny fraction of an inch smaller. I never searched for it.

Tiny! It looks like a lovely little set, thanks for sharing!

I'm a sucker for library/analysis size sets, and I'm very jealous of both of you. (Envious?)

Including tournament size pieces (Legend) and Lego minifig for scale grin

Quaint little pieces; I have had a few of these over time and subsequently moved all mine on now as I found them to be too light and small for my clumsy fingers. As is often the case, the wish I had kept one of the sets but alas, no.🤦‍♂️

Love the knight and colour of those Legend pieces. 👍
