Hello chess.com!

I just got home from the public library, with The Complete Idiot's Guide to Chess, 2nd edition.(Patrick Wolff) I've got it for 3 weeks, so I was wondering if I could get some help for quick studying for the book, or just books in general. Thanks!!!
