Gorgeous set, Manuel! I especially love the cuts on the chests of the knights.

This is a little 11 inch set that I bought in Cracow back in 1994.

Very nice Boomer. That grey is certainly easy on the eyes!

The king height is 3.75 (9,6 cm) and the board squares are 1.96 (5 cm).

Thx cgrau but quit casual compared with the nice sets you're posting :-)

Nice combo banana. bit larger than I expected.

In my opinion 3.0" set are the best size to analysis and study. Here are some I use:

Lardy

Lardy 3"

FH Ayres

F.H. Ayres 3"

German Bohemia 3

German Bohemia 3"

Or this beautiful Spanish old Indajesa design:

Indajesa original

Indajesa original

Spanish Indajesa 3

I like to change from one to another ;-D

Nice sets Salvap, especially the 3" wooden Spanish Indajesa set. Now I think I need one for the collection...

Hi Salvap, those sets are very nice. I really like that bohemian set.

When I study chess, and especially endgames, I prefer the bigger sets:

(white to play and checkmates black in 3 moves)
