Does it have a delay like the Chronos, where the delay is not shown on the display?

I know it has Bronstein and it should be the same, but some players in USCF tournaments want the "hidden" delay time.

Hey Izmet! This looks like a Chess Clock! Looks nice! Though, one could think it was a miligram scale.

Zdravo Izmet! To zgleda kakor ena šahovksa ura! Lepa je! Ma en bi lahko mislu da je miligramska tehtnica.

It does not have a delay mode with the delay completely hidden. It has 'US DELAY' mode where the delay is shown separatetly. In the picture in the first post, the delay would be shown in that blank space under the '5' of the right player's '5.00' time.

The delay counts down in that separate space on the bottom of the display, and when it reaches zero the player's time starts counting down.

You can get a better view of how this is displayed in the manual, which you can download here.

I don't think anyone in USCF tournaments actually wants hidden delay time. They settle for it, because they do not want delay added to the main time, and many clocks do not have the display space to show delay except by adding it to the main time (e.g., by using Bronstein mode).

Offhand, I think the only widely available clock in the US currently that has room for separate delay is the Excalibur. The Chornos has options to do it (and to do completely hidden delay if someone really wants that), but it is currently not widely available. The others, such as the DGT North American, only have room for a flashing delay indicator to let you know you are in the delay portion of your time.

This is an awesome clock. Especially when you connect it to DGT eboard works perfect.

Just bought one and am very satisfied , found a great price for this clock here on ebay:
