That is the website.  They are asking $29 US for one set, this includes shipping.  If you order more than one set shipping may drop a little, meaning, two sets should be a little less than $58 US.  This price does not include VAT (taxes).  The shop is not sure how much tax will be attached to this transaction.  I have no idea how the taxes work in Sweden, the locaiton of this ches shop.

VAT taxes are paid inside their own country. There should be none when they export the set.  But who knows.

Maybe that is why the price does not include VAT, maybe there isn't any for sales to US buyers.  There is a language barrier, it might be my misunderstanding.  The shops do not seem to be prepared for sales in the United States.  Other than this set of chessmen, most of what they sell is available in the United States.

I like the fat pawns. It makes perfect sense to have them designed like this if the set is unweighted. Pawns are most annoying when they're unweighted and unstable. Reminds me of the ru/soviet old sets which all had a lot of wood left over for the fat bases to have them weigh as much as possible without added weight.

Thanks for correcting the inaccuracies in the translations.

Looking forward to receiving the set.

Thanks Chrka.! The pieces look nice to me & the price + shipping was great also. Most people do not need to spend $200.00 or more for a decent playing chess set. The wide bases should make it very stable for Blitz.
